Kapiolani Community College is a public, co-educational commuter college in Honolulu, Hawaii. Formerly known as Kapiolani Technical School, the College is one of ten branches of the University of Hawaii system anchored by the University of Hawaii at Mānoa.

Kapiolani Community College is located in Honolulu, Hawaii. It was established in 1946 as Kapiolani Technical College and was administered by the Territory of Hawaii as one of its chief vocational schools, specializing in food service. In 1965, its curricula was modified and became an open-door public college administered by the University of Hawaii at Mānoa. The school adopted its current name as part of the realignment of programs.

The College is primarily a vocational school that is the part of the University of Hawaii System. Kapiolani Community College is a gathering place where Hawaiiís cultural diversity is celebrated, championed and reflected in the students, faculty, staff, administration and curriculum. It is a nurturing workplace of choice for strong and caring faculty, staff, and administrators committed to a shared vision and set of values.

The College strives to be the first choice for education and training for Hawaiiís people. Students are eligible to apply this College if they are 18 years of age or older, or have earned a high school diploma or equivalency. If individuals apply or submit their required documents after the close of the application period, their application will be considered on a space available basis.

I chose Kapiolani Community College and donít regret. This College offers Associate of Science in Educational Interpreter. I like this program and teachers that always help me. With online learning I have the opportunity to work and study at the same time. I recommend the College to all people.
