Courses
English — Grammar
This course provides a comprehensive survey of the English grammar and allows students to practice using it extensively in ways to increase their productive language ability and accuracy of usage.

English — Writing for Academic Purposes
 A developmental approach guides students through writing sentences, paragraphs and an essay. Students develop an understanding of purpose and audience and participate in the editing process to help them better analyze and improve their own writing skills.

English — Reading for Academic Purposes
Analysis and practice of a variety of skills improves general comprehension and reading efficiency. Students work on specific skills to increase comprehension and vocabulary throughout while also improving dictionary usage and reading speed.

English — English for Academic Purposes
Students are guided to improve those listening, reading, writing, note-taking, test-taking, and critical thinking skills needed for academic success. These skills are practiced within the context of eight different subject areas.

English — Writing and Speaking for Business
Besides studying academic skills in a Business context and training in the use of business communication formats, students also use accent reduction exercises to improve their speaking ability in business communications.

English — Developing Writing Skills
This course is strongly recommended for all students beginning university studies who have doubts about their writing skills or who require a refresher course in English grammar and in the basic techniques of essay writing.

English — Introductory Composition
This course focuses on essay writing and critical thinking at the university level. In order to refine compositional skills, students examine various examples of good writing in conjunction with developing their own work.
