About AGMA
AGMA College commenced its Australian operations in 2003. Initially it provided specialist training for Agriculture, Wool, Sheep, Beef, Horticulture, Viticulture, Organics & Grain Industries. AGMA College has developed training activities to encompass a wide range of topics relevant to the rural community throughout Australia.
AGMA College delivers Education Direct [Online] or Distance Learning [CD-Rom] courses to Australian and International Students through the AGMA Virtual College [AGMA VC] system, providing 24/7 access for students, trainers, lecturing and mentoring staff. Training opportunities include beef and sheep breeding, pasture management, animal nutrition & husbandry, cropping, marketing, risk management, occupational health & safety, wool and sheep classing, shearing, animal health, horticulture, organics, hydroponics and training in natural resource management.
AGMA College provides many unique features in its ability to combine 21st century Web Technology with established industry experts to present a quality training program anywhere in Australia and Internationally. This provides participants with the ability to undertake Theory based learning at any time that suits them via Web Technology. Practical training components can be delivered at pre-arranged times to suit the participant if required or included directly into their daily work routines and on the job training or development programs. This helps to ensure the quality of AGMA College's training remains very high and the information provided is current. AGMA College also has a strong focus on ensuring the training offered results in the adoption of on farm change.

Through the relationship with the VECTrust, AGMA College is also able to provide student funding for participation in overseas training or study programs provided by associated overseas colleges and universities.
