About Clarion University
The e-University is not a degree granting institution. The online degree you are earning will be granted through one of the participating universities. The courses required to support the degrees are delivered by both universities and are taught by the same faculty as currently teaching in the traditional classrooms. As a result, the degree you earn online offers the same quality and accreditation as a degree you would earn through one of the university's traditional on-campus program.

All courses through the e-University run under the same semester schedule as traditional on-campus courses, but you are not required to be online at a specific time. You can "attend class" and work on your assignments when your schedule allows and from anywhere you have access to the Internet. This provides you the flexibility to balance your work, family, community, and educational commitments. Like traditional courses, however, you will have definite semester start and end dates as well as assignment deadlines and test schedules as established by the individual instructor. You will also be required to frequently participate in online discussions with your fellow students and your instructor.

Clarion University of Pennsylvania is accredited by The Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA). The Clarion University School of Nursing's Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC). The College of Education and the Early Childhood program are accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). All courses in the Masters in Rehabilitative Science program have been approved by the Pennsylvania Certification Board for Certified Addiction Counselors.
