About Crown College
Crown College was founded in 1969 as Crown School of Hair Design. In 1979, the school became nationally accredited by NATTS now known as ACCSCT. In 1989 the school became Crown Academy offering short-term training in the public service fields. In 1990, the school became a privately held corporation and in 1995 expanded its program offerings and became a degree-granting institute of higher learning. In 1999, Crown College began offering programs via distance education. Crown College received its most recent accreditation in February 2002. As it has evolved over the years, it has remained an exceptional private college for career education. The College stresses professional attitudes and academic preparation. Crown College integrates these perspectives in an exciting and demanding curriculum.
Crown College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). The College is approved to confer degrees in the State of Washington as authorized by ACCSCT. Additionally, Crown College is approved to instruct veterans of the military armed services of the United States.
Crown College's academic programs of study, Bachelor of Science in Public Administration and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, are approved by the Higher Education Coordinating Board's State Approving agency (HECB/SAA) for enrollment of persons eligible to receive educational benefits under Title 38 and Title 10, U.S. Code.
This school is authorized under Federal Law to enroll non-immigrant alien students. The College is a member in good standing with the American Council on Education.
