About Hagerstown Community College
Established in 1946, HCC was the first community to open its doors in the state of Maryland. The College has grown to a current credit enrollment of more than 3,600 students and a non-credit enrollment of more than 9,000.
The College is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and is a member of the American Association of Community Colleges.
  
U.S. Citizens
Send transcripts if you:
· are still enrolled in high school
· have graduated from high school within the last three years
· have earned a GED
· want credits from another college or university transferred to HCC
· have prerequisite courses at another institution
· are in the Nursing, Paramedic Emergency Services, or Radiography programs

International Students
The following requirements must be met before an I-20 is issued. All documents should be sent to the address listed above. All documents must be received by July 1 for the fall semester and by November 15 for the spring semester.
Send high school and college transcripts (if applicable), and a medical report signed by a physician.
Send test score results for either the American College Test (ACT) or the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT I).
Send test score results for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
Complete the declaration and certification of finance statement and send it to Hagerstown Community College's financial aid office. The form is available from the College Scholarship Service, Princeton, New Jersey 08541-6115
